Due to continued expansion and to provide improved levels of support to our clients, Diagnostic Associates are looking for talented, dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated engineers and technicians to work at client sites mainly in the West Midlands area.

We are currently searching for candidates who are willing to work to fulfil permanent and contracting positions in the following fields.

    Skilled Automotive Technicians
- Knowledge and experience of automotive electrical systems.
- Vehicle Diagnostic skills including the ability to use laptop-based diagnostic tools.
- Experience in problem solving.
    Automotive Electrical Engineering
- Candidates must able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of vehicle communication networks, electrical system engineering and fault diagnosis. They shall have an understanding of hardware and software design, and electrical integration concepts such as diagnostics and SWDL. They shall have excellent negotiation and communications skills, have an ability to build relationships with suppliers, project management and liaise with employees at all levels. Be self motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
    Electrical Test Engineers
- Develop Full Vehicle Simulator Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test platform to support new vehicle programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating vehicle hardware components and ECU functional models into the HIL simulation platform. The engineer will also be responsible to maintain tracking of all verification and validation activities using the HIL test rig and develop test plans to support all Electrical Engineering functions.
 
- Experience with dSPACE simulators and HIL simulation setup for automotive electrical components. Experience with MATLAB, SIMULINK and Stateflow for moded development. Experience with Real-Time Workshop for Rapid Control Prototyping and test. Experience with automotive ECU electrical interfaces, i.e I/O types, network buses, loads, sensors and actuators. Familiar with CAN/LIN/MOST/Ethernet networks and experience with test tools for network monitoring and simulation.
    Engineer Project Manager
- Excellent communication and team working skills will be required. Good IT skills on generic modern business software with a willingness to learn unique supplier software. Ability to lead & negotiate the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment. Ability to present project information to all levels of the business.
    Catia V5 Engineers
- TCE (Team Centre Engineering) experience, Self motivated and adaptable to changing demands. Able to manage workload and work independently. Manufacturing process knowledge.
- Min 1 year CATIA v5 experience in an automotive OEM environment

We will consider both graduate engineers and experienced time-served engineers/technicians in the fields defined.

Experience in the automotive industry would be very welcomed, especially if current.
